6/18/08: In a meeting of the Bureau County Speedway Membership, the decision was made by the Members to suspend racing for the remainder of the 2008 season. We would like to thank all the fans, drivers, crews, track help and Sponsors for their support of the track this year. We will continue with our current Bingo fundraiser every Tuesday night at Casino Bingo in Peru, and will be looking into holding other types of fundraisers in our efforts to raise funds for the 2009 season. If you would like to be added to our email update list, please send an email to bcs@bureaucountyspeedway.org , we will be sending emails of when the board meetings are as well as fundraisers and Speedway hosted events.
